Teaching resources

  • Portraiture Course

This is targeted at Year 11 (stage 1) Creative Media. It’s a portraiture course that you can tailor however you want to run over 1 or 2 terms. I’ve used some links an videos in there from Annie Liebovitz’s Masterclass which needs a subscription but you can also do it without those links.

  • Philosophy Course

This is targeted for Year 11 (stage 1) and Year 12 (Stage 2) Philosophy. It’s based off the VCE textbook but I teach in the NT. The NT course is quite flexible. Year 11 starts with an introduction to Metaphysics, introducing Plato, Socrates, Aristotle. Students do a written reflection on what is real. Followed by the topic of God’s existence. Year 12 look at Plato and the Immortality of the Soul, then going on to look at Minds and Bodies.

  • Humanities

In this folder is lessons for year 7, 8, 9 and 10 Humanities (History, Geography, Economics, Civics and Citizenship). There’s also some things to help with senior school modern history (America Between the Wars and Nazi Germany).

  • Art and Media

So far, I’ve taught year 7 art, year 10 art (printmaking), and year 10 media. I will also add some year 9 media stuff as I make it this year.

  • Health

I have taught bits and pieces of year 7, 8, 9, and 10 health. Here are a few resources.

  • Social and Emotional Learning

I have a lot of social and emotional lessons throughout each unit, however, here are some one off lessons on things like values, non-violent communication and relational intelligence.

I would love to hear your feedback or collaborate with student examples.
